One standard of comfort —
whether it’s 1,400 square feet
or 14,000.

Davids AC LLC designs, installs, and services heating and cooling systems across New Jersey. Steam and hydronic boilers, electric HVAC, heat pumps, furnaces, and custom ductwork — built to run quietly and hold temperature through a Jersey January and a July heat wave alike.

  • Same-day emergency service
  • Flat pricing before work starts
  • Estate & historic home experience

What we work on

Five systems, done to spec

Every card below covers both ends of our work: the standard New Jersey home and the large estate with zoning, redundancy, and finishes to protect. The colored edge shows whether the system heats, cools, or does both.

Heating

Steam & water heating

One-pipe and two-pipe steam, hot water and radiant loops. Boiler replacement with near-boiler piping rebuilt to manufacturer spec, radiator and baseboard repair, zone valves, circulators, and traps that finally stop hammering.

  • Steam & hydronic boiler install
  • Radiant floor and snowmelt loops
  • Radiator, trap, and vent service

Electric HVAC systems

Ductless mini-splits, multi-zone electric air handlers, and high-velocity systems for homes with no room for a duct chase. Clean electrical coordination so your panel and breaker load are handled before install day, not after.

  • Single and multi-zone mini-splits
  • High-velocity small-duct systems
  • Panel and circuit coordination

Heat pumps

Cold-climate air-source and geothermal systems sized for real New Jersey design temperatures, not a rule of thumb. We handle the backup heat strategy so you keep capacity when it drops into the teens.

  • Cold-climate air-source systems
  • Geothermal and dual-fuel setups
  • Rebate and incentive paperwork

Furnaces

Gas and oil furnace replacement, high-efficiency condensing units, venting done right, and combustion analysis on every startup. Repairs on nights and weekends when the house is already cold.

  • Gas & oil furnace replacement
  • High-efficiency condensing upgrades
  • Combustion testing & safety checks

Air distribution

Custom ductwork design & repair

The part most contractors skip. We run room-by-room load calculations, fabricate sheet metal to fit the space you actually have, seal and insulate the runs, and balance static pressure so the far bedroom gets the same air as the one next to the unit. On larger properties that means concealed runs through millwork and ceilings, with linear diffusers your architect will sign off on.

  • Room-by-room load calculations
  • Custom sheet metal fabrication
  • Sealing, insulation & leak repair
  • Airflow balancing & static testing
  • Concealed runs and linear diffusers
  • Retrofits in historic homes

The estate program

For properties where a service call can’t be an inconvenience

Large homes fail differently. Thirty rooms on four zones, a boiler room with no redundancy, plaster and millwork that can’t be opened casually, and a schedule that has to work around the household. Our estate work is built around that reality.

Talk to us about an estate property
  • Multi-zone & redundant plants

Staged boilers and lead-lag controls so a single failure never takes the whole house offline.

  • Concealed distribution

Duct runs planned with your architect or builder, hidden in soffits and millwork, finished with linear diffusers.

  • Humidity & air quality

Whole-home humidification, dehumidification, and filtration to protect wood floors, instruments, and art.

  • Priority service agreements

Scheduled seasonal commissioning, documented equipment records, and a direct line when something goes wrong.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

  1. 01

You call or send the form

Tell us the town, the property, and what the system is doing. Emergencies get routed straight to a technician.

  2. 02

    We assess on site

Load calculation, static pressure, combustion, and a look at the whole system rather than the one part that failed.

  3. 03

You get a written scope and flat price

Options where options exist, with the tradeoffs explained in plain language. Nothing starts until you approve it.

  4. 04

    We install and commission

Clean work area, tested startup, balanced airflow, and a walkthrough so you know how to run what you paid for.

Before you call

Common questions

All of New Jersey, plus nearby parts of New York and Connecticut. Essex, Morris, Union, Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, and Somerset counties are our core coverage with the fastest response.

Yes. No heat and no cooling calls are dispatched around the clock. Call 973-368-3233 and you’ll reach a technician rather than a message tree.

We’ll show you both numbers. If a repair buys you several more seasons on a system that isn’t costing you in fuel, that’s what we’ll recommend. Replacement makes sense when efficiency, safety, or parts availability have run out.

Almost always. Older New Jersey homes with radiators are a good fit for ductless mini-splits or high-velocity small-duct systems, both of which we install regularly without tearing up plaster.

Estimates for installation and replacement are free. Diagnostic visits on a system that’s already down carry a service fee, which we credit toward the repair if you move forward with us.
